The financial aids are provided by the Directorate of Social Assistance through following the procedures outlined below:

1.            To fill up the social assistance application form and attaching with it the required documents

2.            The form can be submitted to any Welfare Centers that distributed in the Kingdom

3.            To study the case and prepare a report according to the specimen prepared for that.

4.            To study the case by the Deciding Committee for the eligibility of Social Assistances applications

5.            To record the banking account of the beneficiary or whoever deputize him

6.            The assistances are cashed commencing from the date of 15th of every month through the beneficiaries accounts in different local banks

Provision of different compensatory apparatuses for the elderly - free of charge – such as wheel chairs, bathroom chairs, crutches, walking aids and medical earphones.

Services Provision Conditions:           

-         He should be of a Bahraini nationality

-         The age of the applicant should not be less than sixty years.

-         The family is unable to provide apparatuses for elderly due to its low income.

-         To submit a medical report for the applicant of medical earphones.

Procedures for the Provision of Aids for Elderly: 

-         To submit a request for the service by filling up the application form and attaching with it the required documents.

-         To conduct a social research and prepare a report according to the specimen prepared for that.

-         To review the application by the technical committee and make the appropriate decision.

-          To notify the applicant about the committee decision.

-         To hand over the apparatus.
