The Ministry of Social Development receives families and individuals applications and examines their cases in cooperation with the community centers.

The financial aids are provided through the Directorate of Social Assistances by following the procedure listed below:

1.            To fill up the application form of social assistance and enclosing with it the required documents

2.            It is possible to submit the form to any of the community centers  which  spread through out the Kingdom

3.            To study the case and prepare a report according to the specimen prepared for that

4.            To examine the application by the Deciding Committee for the eligibility of social assistances applications

5.            To record the bank account of the beneficiary or who deputize him

6.            The aids are paid out commencing from the date of 15 of every month through the beneficiaries accounts in different local banks

The compensation service of fire cases is offered through the Directorate of Social Assistances by following the procedure listed below.

1.            To fill up the application form for fire compensation and incorporated with relevant documents

2.            To make a field visit to the fire site and ascertain the extent of damages resulting from it

3.            To prepare a report about the fire magnitude and the resultant damages

4.            To submit a report to the Directorate of Finance at the Ministry to make the necessary procedures to pay the compensation amount

The Directorate of Social Assistances assumes the responsibility of submitting a list of names who benefit from the social assistances to the Ministry of Electricity and Water to take whatever is necessary in respect of including those families within the noble act of reducing the fees of electricity and water.

The Directorate of Social Assistances receives a letter from the Ministry of Labour requesting examination of the case in order to prepare a report to decide on the eligibility of the studied cases according to the eligibility criteria and conditions. Accordingly recommendations are submitted to the Ministry of Labour to take the necessary action.
