Driving training program for persons with disabilities Service

There is a time plan for the training program for the trainee and the duration of the training, which is intensified over a period of 3 weeks, with a minimum of 22 training hours and a maximum of 34 training hours, according to the number of hours the trainee needs, provided that it is two hours per day distributed between theoretical training and practical training. This is at the headquarters of the Driving Education Department throughout the week - from Sunday to Thursday - with the exception of official holidays, and the necessary additional training hours are added in case the first exam is not passed, which is a maximum of 12 hours.

    1. The applicant must be Bahraini.

    2. The applicant must be at least 18 years old.

    3. Obtaining the approval of the competent medical committee.

    4. The applicant must have obtained a temporary education license.

    1. A copy of the passport.

    2. Integrated CPR card with disability ID.

    3. The decision of the competent medical committee.

    4. Driving license.

    5. The disabled applicant should be is registered in the disability allowance system.

    6. Pass the theory exam.

A Request must be submitted to the driving training school in the General Directorate of Traffic of the Ministry of Interior.
