Family Guidance Service

Family guidance offices provide its services and guidance programs to meet the needs of all members of the Bahraini family, including helping family members to achieve mutual understanding, eliminate stress and emotion, resolve conflicts among themselves, eliminate anxiety, and achieve convergence, harmony and tolerance. These centers provide family counseling, individual and group counseling, and play counseling for children. The social development centers are also concerned with Family care program to implement the provisions of visibility and visitation for the children of divorced. The Ministry is the competent authority to issue licenses for the establishment and opening of family guidance offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
