KAAF Humanitarian Foundation organizes the Governance National Forum for Non-Profit Sector

In the presence of His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, Minister of Social Development, the KAAF Humanitarian Foundation at Al-Islah Society, in cooperation with the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, organized the Governance National Forum for Non-Profit Sector, with the participation of a number of charitable and civil society organizations and community figures. At the beginning of the forum’s program, the Minister of Social Development praised the efforts of KAAF Humanitarian Foundation in the Al-Islah Society, for its development initiatives to enhance the concepts of community partnership in civil society institutions as an essential partner in the process of comprehensive and sustainable development. In this context, he congratulated Mr. Muhammad Jassim Sayyar, CEO of KAAF Humanitarianism, for choosing him among the Arab figures. Most influential in the field of social responsibility. He pointed out the importance of the forum’s topic in a way that contributes to consolidating the concept of governance in NGOs to achieve the highest levels of transparency, as it is a vital element in enhancing credibility and effectiveness, in accordance with the principles and practices that aim to ensure purposeful institutional management in NGOs, explaining that the forum is an opportunity to highlight experiences. Pioneering in the field of governance, disseminating best practices and applications, and working to increase the capabilities of workers in the voluntary institutional field, to achieve a developmental and sustainable work environment. He also stressed the Ministry's keenness to provide all appropriate means and support necessary to develop volunteer work to carry out its role to the fullest, as it is the basis of the work of civil society institutions, and the backbone of effective community partnership that contributes, alongside official institutions, to the development and advancement of society at all levels and fields. The forum included a number of cultural segments, in addition to honoring relevant figures and institutions, and an introductory presentation about KAAF Humanity for obtaining the reliable certificate from the National Council for Voluntary Organizations in the United Kingdom. ​
