Unit academic qualification:


The unit specializes in the rehabilitation of academic qualification and training of children with intellectual and medium disabilities Statistics according to special programs for them and to help them integrate and social adjustment


These programs include the following: 

  • Basic academic skills.
  • Skills in self-sufficiency.
  • Social skills.
  • Art skills (drawing).
  • Skills of Physical Education.
  • Skills include independence (home economics - crafts - Library and Learning Resources).
  •  Recreational programs educational mobility.
  • Preparation methods for the implementation of programs.

Unit academic qualification - professional configuration:

  1. Rehabilitation students on basic skills in the initial configuration professional (theoretically).
  2. Practical training for the basics of vocational rehabilitation.
  3. Integration of students in training programs and vocational rehabilitation programs after they have completed their academic qualification and professional configuration
  4. Certification programs to quit academic qualification.


* Unit vocational rehabilitation:
  • The unit specializes in the implementation of vocational rehabilitation professional training programs aimed at achieving economic efficiency of the disabled through work and engage in their profession 
  • Professional preparation programs gradient appropriate for all categories of disability status and analysis of the merged businesses and professions required in the labor market and adapted them.

Training will be provided on the professions through training workshops following:

  • Carpentry Workshop.
  • Aluminum Workshop .
  • The Welding Workshop.
  • Mechanics Workshop .
  • Sewing and Crafts Workshop.
  • Ceramic Business Workshop .
  • Cosmetic Workshop.
  • Computer Workshop
  • Initialization Craft Workshop.

As is the introduction of new workshops according to the needs of the labor market

  • Granting certificate vocational rehabilitation after the termination of professional training programs.
  • Conversion of graduating students to the center of services for disabled (not alone) for employment in the labor market by specialist recruitment

Health care program and treatment:

  1. Follow-up and periodic medical examinations for students and open a special file for each of them.
  2. Interest in health affairs for students and Bnzafthm take care and follow-up medical needs them.
  3. Work to fortify the students and working with them.
  4. Provide prosthetic devices for students who need it.
  5. First aid center for students or transferred to the hospital when necessary.
  6. Periodically check on students.

Software psychiatric care:

  2. Provide remedial education according to the characteristics of each individual case "behavior modification".

Cultural programs, sports and entertainment:


  1. Organizing trips entertaining and educational for the students.
  2. Provide an opportunity for students to participate in the scout teams and their place in the Scout camps organized by various institutions.
  3. Provide an opportunity for students to reading newspapers, magazines and TV programs and engage in educational games educational games and entertainment.
  4. Organizing entertainments in the observances of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  5. Organization of exhibitions for the definition of students with products.
  6. Participate in all the sports activities of people with special disabilities on the local and international level.
  7. Physical Education organization quotas within the daily program and participate in local and international tournaments.

Training programs for the Center:

  1. Organization of training courses in various fields of special education and vocational training at the local level and regional level.
  2. Organizing lectures and refresher courses during the academic year.
  3. Participate in training courses organized by local universities and centers with disabilities similar.
  4. Exchange of visits between the reconnaissance centers with disabilities to benefit from their expertise.
  5. Neil scholarship certificates to staff specialized in the fields of special education and vocational rehabilitation.
  6.
