NGO's Support Services
The Kingdom of Bahrain has shown uniqueness in its social work policy with respect to the implementation of a set of world recommendations and directives adopted and supported by NGOs in the Kingdom. This stems from the belief of the growing role that can be played by the different social stakeholders in developing communities and their needs so as to find a place for them in the march of development. Consequently, the Ministry of Social Development took many encouraging steps to double the impact of NGOs through increasing coordination among them and provide them with facilities options to execute their activities in a way that contributes to achieving their objectives. Besides, the Ministry is very keen to engage the NGOs and voluntary institutions in all seminars, conferences and workshops organized by the Ministry and which contribute undoubtedly to developing the abilities of members in these NGOs and institutions. The Ministry strives to achieve this out of its belief that these NGOs represent the third economic and social power along with the public and private sectors, that such power has an effective role in addressing social problems in general, and that these NGOs are an integral part of the civil society organizations that have a growing role as a result of the rapid social and economic changes in the world.

Our Bahrain Initiative is a comprehensive initiative directed towards individuals, groups and institutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain to enhance the individual sense of belonging to the homeland and consolidate the values of loyalty, coexistence and tolerance. This initiative consolidates the idea of national identity in which all members of society are fused into one crucible, which is the homeland and its public interest. It stems from the well-established national constants inspired by the religion, the charter, the constitution, customs and traditions, the changing constants in society and the openness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to cultures and societies. The plan initiative has adopted several initiatives that crystallize innovative, pioneering and diversified programs so that every individual in society and every institution can see its results and effects..
The initiative of networking between civil organizations is one of the programs of the Bahraini initiative to enhance national belonging and consolidate the values of citizenship and loyalty. The networking initiative stems from the same values as the Bahraini Initiative and contributes to highlighting the common patriotic responsibility in building the nation. The private sector has a responsibility in this field, given that the institutions and organizations of this sector are in constant and direct contact with members of society through the events, activities and services it provides to all segments of society..
